Pull quotes
Using a new SNO FLEX feature, you can now put pull quotes on a story page. Adding pull quotes can be useful if you have a longer story and you want to provide a visual break to the long sections of text or if you want to provide emphasis to a particular statement in the text. FLEX provides an easy way to add this dynamic feature to any story page with just a few clicks. Interested in trying this out? Click here for step-by-step instruction.
Funky formatting
When you post a story, do you end up with mismatching fonts? Odd sp acing? Strange symb@ls? This whacked-out formatting usually is a result of copying and pasting your story from MS Word or Google Docs, and there's an easy fix. The next time you copy the text of a story, click on the Show/Hide Kitchen Sink icon (which is supposed to look like a little control panel) at the top of the story box and then click the Paste as Plain Text icon (this one looks like a small clipboard with a T). Paste your text into the box that appears and click insert. This will strip out the funky formatting and leave you with just plain text that you can easily work with.
