Use contrasting widget styles on your homepage
Your SNO FLEX theme uses widgets to add content to your site. By using contrasting widget styles on your homepage, you can draw attention to an individual widget. For example, a bold outer border can make a widget stand out from the background. Use the Widget Appearance bar on the SNO Design Options page to try unlimited options for widgets in general or change the appearance of any SNO widget once it is placed in a widget area by clicking on it on the Edit Widgets page.
Avoid white space on your homepage
Often at the bottom of a site, there will be blank white space. Just as you don’t want empty white space on a printed newspaper page, you don’t want dead space on your homepage. If you have this un-used space on your site, the fix is simple. By going to the Edit Widgets page, you can shift widgets from one widget area to another, delete or add widgets, or change how much information is in an individual widget by clicking on the widget and changing the length of the teasers or how many recent stories are displayed. It can take a bit of finessing, but in the end, your site will look more complete and polished without the white space.
