You'll notice a few different deadlines on FLOW -- a story publishing deadline and different process deadlines specific to each Assignment Type. You can set defaults for these different deadlines. You can also manually adjust them on an individual story/assignment.
Adjusting Deadline Defaults
Story Publishing Deadline
- Go to your FLOW Settings and click on "Deadline Defaults."
- At the very top, locate the "Story Deadline" field.
- The number on the right determines how many days from the story's creation the deadline will default to. For example, if the number is "10," the story's deadline will default to 10 days from when it was created.
- Adjust the number accordingly.
- Click on "Save Deadlines" when finished.
Assignment Deadlines
- Go to your FLOW Settings and click on "Deadline Defaults."
- Note that each of your Assignment Types (Writing, Photography, etc.) has its own set of deadlines. The number on the right determines how many days before the story publishing deadline (see above) that deadline is due. For example, if the number is "3," that deadline is three days prior to the story publishing deadline.
- Adjust the number(s) accordingly for each deadline.
- To add a new assignment deadline, click on the blue "Add Deadline" button.
- To remove an assignment deadline, click on the "-" icon next to the existing deadline.
- Click on "Save Deadlines" when finished.
