Activity
Identify the Story Genre
Time for your students to demonstrate that they understand the types of content that each journalistic genre might contain. To practice, students will first be asked to assign 10 story ideas to their proper corresponding genres. Students will then have the opportunity to come up with community-oriented ideas of their own, spanning each genre, to generate future coverage possibilities.
