Draft a Detailed Episode Outline
Detailed episode outlines offer a great in-between option for podcast hosts who need more structure than bullet points, but don’t have the time or need to craft a verbatim script. This structure works especially well for student journalists as it encourages students to think through the structural elements needed for an episode, without becoming too overwhelming.
Students can use the following worksheet to create a preliminary detailed episode outline for a podcast episode that they plan to produce.
