The ImageLinks tool is part of SNO’s Site Booster Bundle. ImageLinks is an interactive media tool that allows you to create engaging, interactive visuals by adding clickable dots to images. These dots can include text, links, videos, images, audio, and other multimedia elements to enhance storytelling, learning, or engagement.
How to Create an ImageLink
- Click on the ImageLinks tab on the left side of your dashboard.
- Click “Add New ImageLink” at the top of the page.
- Give your ImageLink a title and click Save Draft on the right side.
- Click “Set Background Image” and upload or choose your image from the Media Library. Make sure to add your caption and credit, then click the Set Featured Image button.
- Click Save Draft again.
- Click a spot on your image to add a link.
- Fill in the Overlay Heading, add text, a photo or embed code, and adjust any setting you’d like regarding the dot and dot overlay.
- Add as many dot “segments” to your image as you’d like.
- Adjust ImageLink Content and Design settings on the right side of this editing page, if you’d like.
- Click the blue Publish button in the Publish box in the top right.
How to Add an ImageLink to a Story or Page
- Create a story, or open an existing story in the story editor.
- Press Enter/Return to create a line break before adding your ImageLink if you are adding it after text.
- Click the “Add SNO Story Element” button above the story body text box.
- Choose ImageLink from the options on the left side.
- Use the dropdown to select the ImageLink you’d like to appear in this story or page.
- Click the blue Insert button in the upper right corner
