How to do a Photo of the Day

Simplest Way (but least interactive) - Using the SNO Ad Widget.

1. Hover on Appearance and click Widgets.
2. Drag the SNO Advertisement widget to a widget area in a section on the right.
3. Upload the image.
4. Unhide the widget title and change the title to "Photo of the Day"
5. Give it a link if you want.
6. Save.

Most Interactive Way - Using Categories

1. Create a new Category called Photo of the Day by hovering on Stories and clicking Categories.
2. Each "Photo of the Day" will actually be a new story you will create. The story should have a title but doesn't need to have any body text. Give the story a Featured Image by clicking Set Featured Image. This will be the image used for Photo of the Day.
3. Hover on Appearance and click Widgets.
4. Drag either a SNO Story List widget or a SNO Story Carousel widget to one of your widget areas.
5. Configure the widget to display only one story (i.e. one photo) and display your Photo of the Day Category.
6. Save.
