Alt text (alternative text) is a brief description added to an image that explains its content and purpose. Alt Text will not be visible on your site once added; it’s primarily used by screen readers to help visually impaired users understand images, and it also displays if an image fails to load. Writing clear, descriptive alt text improves accessibility and ensures all users can engage with your content.
