How to Add a SNO Quiz

The SNO Quizzes feature is a great way to create more opportunities for visitors to interact with content on your website. Quizzes are composed of a series of questions and answers that correspond to specific outcomes, leaving the quiz-taker with a specific result at the end. This feature is available to any client that subscribes to the Site Booster Bundle.

Creating a New Quiz

1. Click on “Add New Quiz” under the SNO Quizzes tab on the left navigation bar in the WordPress dashboard.
2. Enter a quiz title in the field at the top.
3. Add any outcome answers within the fields beneath the “Quiz Outcomes Editor” header, as well as any images to correspond with those outcomes (if desired).
4. Add your quiz questions within the “Quiz Editor” field, along with their potential answers, weights, relations, and images (if desired).
5. Review the quiz start date, end date, and other settings in the Quiz Options box on the right hand side of the page.
6. Click the “Publish” button to make your quiz live. 

Adding a Quiz to a Story

1. Create your quiz.
2. While adding/editing a story, place your cursor in the place you’d like the quiz to go. Usually, it works best to press enter, giving the quiz it’s own line in the text editing box.
3. Click the SNO Add Story Element button above the text editing window.
4. A pop-up window will give you all of the different options story elements, click the button for SNO Quiz.
5. Select the quiz you would like to embed, set the design settings, and click the “Insert” button in the right hand corner of the window.
6. A line of short code will now show up in your story.
7. Click Update/Publish and go to view the story to see how your quiz looks to a visitor.

Adding a SNO Quiz Widget

1. Click on Widgets under the Appearance tab on the left navigation bar in the WordPress dashboard.
2. Open the Widget Area where you would like to place the Quiz Widget (on the right side).
3. Drag the SNO Quiz Widget from the left hand side of the page into the Widget Area.
4. Set the configuration options for the Widget.
5. Click Save.
