Hyperlinks in Page or Story Text

1. Open your story in edit mode.
2. Highlight the text you would like to link to a URL.
3. Click the Insert/Edit link button at the top.
4. Type or paste the URL to link to in the box. It must start with http:// or https:// to work properly.
5. Click the Apply (arrow) button.
6. Save Draft or Update your story.

Set link to open in a new tab

1. Click the gear on the right side of the link adding/editing box to open Link Options.
2. Add the URL and Link Text.
3. Check the box for “Open link in new tab.”
4. Click the blue Update/Add Link button.

Link an Inline Image to a URL on a Story or Page

1. Open your story in edit mode.
2. Place your cursor in the story/page body where you would like to add the photo. 
3. Click the Add Inline Photo or Add Media button. 
4. Select the image from your Media Library or upload the photo in the Upload Files tab.
5. Change the Link To dropdown to “Custom URL.”
6. Type or paste the URL to link to in the URL box. It must start with http:// or https:// to work properly.
7. Click the Insert into Post/Page button.

Set image link to open in a new tab OR add link to image you've already added inline

1. Click on the image in the story body, and click the pencil icon that appears above it.
2. Change the Link to: dropdown to Custom URL, if needed, then enter the URL to link to in the URL field.
3. In the Advanced Options, check the box for “Open link in a new tab.”
4. Click the Update button.

Using the SNO Advertisement Widget to Link an Image to a URL

The SNO Advertisement widget is the best way to link an image to another website or URL on your homepage or in other widget areas. It can be used for more than just advertisements.

1. Go to the Widget Control Panel. (Appearance -> Widgets)
2. Drag the SNO Advertisement widget into the widget area that you would like the linked image to appear.
3. Adjust the Widget Title at the top, if you’d like. If you want this title to show, you will need to check the box for “Show Title Bar” in the second column.
4. Click the Select Image button.
5. Select the image from your Media Library or upload the photo in the Upload Files tab.
6. Type or paste the URL to link to in the Advertisement Link box. It must start with http:// or https:// to work properly.
7. Click the Save button in the upper right corner.
