Enhance your student journalism with professional, real-world visuals through our partnership with Reuters. This optional add-on provides access to a curated collection of Reuters images, continuously updated with breaking news and major events.
Reuters adds and removes images on a daily basis, so if you see one you may want to use, make sure to click the Save to Media Library or Download for Print buttons on the image right away. Once images are saved to your Media Library, they will remain there unless manually deleted by your staff, even after they've been removed from the Reuters Images feed.
Usage conditions:
Images can be used in both digital and print publications, ensuring your newsroom has the best resources for compelling storytelling. The credits provided with the images MUST be used on your website. If using Reuters images in print publications, such as print newspapers or yearbooks, users must include the photo credit to Reuters and the original photographer provided with the image.
Captions to the photos may be edited, as long as they do not alter the meaning.
You are not allowed to modify Reuters images in a way that distorts their meaning, but basic edits like cropping, resizing, and color correction are allowed. Cut-outs and collages are not permitted. Heavy modifications (cut-outs, illustrations, overlays) are not permitted, as they would violate Reuters’ editorial integrity policies.
