Leaderboard and Footer Ads

Adding Leaderboard/Footer ads with FLEX Pro

1. Go to the Site Designer. (Appearance -> Site Designer)
2. Create a space in your header where you would like to place the ad. You can click Add Row to add another row to your header/footer design, and use the double-sided arrow on the left to drag and drop this row to a different location, if you'd like.
3. Click the Add Content button, then choose Image/Simple Ad or SNO Ad Manager Ad Group (This option is only available if you have the SNO Ad manager, part of our Site Booster Bundle).
4. Upload your ad image.
5. Place your link URL in the Image Link field, and adjust other settings as desired.
6. Save All Design Options in the upper right corner.
7. IMPORTANT: If you want the ads to appear in the Mobile and Tablet versions of your site, you will also need to add the ad images to the Header/Footer Design - Mobile and Header/Footer Design - Tablet. Use the purple dropdown at the top of the header or footer area to toggle to these versions of your header/footer.

Adding an Ad Group to the Header or Footer Area

If you subscribe to our Site Booster Bundle, you have access to the SNO Ad Manager, and are able to add Ad Groups to your Header or Footer in the Site Designer.

1. Go to the Site Designer. (Appearance -> Site Designer)
2. Create a space in your header where you would like to place the ad. You can click Add Row to add another row to your header/footer design, and use the double-sided arrow on the left to drag and drop this row to a different location, if you'd like.
3. Click the Add Content button, then choose SNO Ad Manager Ad Group. (This option is only available if you have our Site Booster Bundle.)
4. Choose the ad group you would like displayed in the “Select and Ad Group” dropdown menu.
5. Save All Design Options in the upper right corner.
6. IMPORTANT: If you want the ads to appear in the Mobile and Tablet versions of your site, you will also need to add the ad images to the Header/Footer Design - Mobile and Header/Footer Design - Tablet. Use the purple dropdown at the top of the header or footer area to toggle to these versions of your header/footer.

Adding Leaderboard/Footer Ads tags from Google AdSense

Google Ad tags can only be added once to your site, so you cannot add a Google Ad tag to all three versions of the header, or it will not work properly. Instead, you can add these ad tags to your header and footer in Design Options -> Advertisements.

The best way to place ads in your header and footer is in the Site Designer, as described above, so you should only use this method for Ad tags.

1. Copy the Ad tag from your Google AdSense Account.
2. Go to your SNO Design Options page (Appearance -> SNO Design Options) and open the Advertisements section.
3. Set the Leaderboard/Footer Ad Location to Above Header or Below Header using the dropdown menu.
4. Adjust other design settings, if you'd like. 
5. Adjust the Type of Ad Space dropdown to Ad tag. 
6. Paste your ad tag in the in the "Third-Party Ad Tag" box that appears after you choose Ad Tag for this setting.
7. Click the Save All Design Options button at the upper right side of the SNO Design Options page.
